I'm doing it! I'm switching over from Blogger to WordPress. It's going to take a little while for my domain name to get transferred over, so if things look funny or don't work when you try and read the blog, it should be fixed shortly enough. The whole blogging every day thing makes it tricky to have a seamless transition. I feel a little bit like I don't know what's going on right this moment, but I think things will get sorted out in the next day here. I guess I tell you all of that so if things are wonky for a couple of days, you won't be alarmed.
Okay, back to other things! Today ended up being a really fun day- I took the kids to IKEA because I had one little thing I wanted to get there, and it ended up being such a great place to take the kids! We went to the cafe and kids eat free through the end of July if you have a Family card, which is just a free loyalty program. There were toys for Peter to play with, and lots of yummy food so the kids and I were all happy and full when we left. And, it's IKEA, so it's just fun to walk around. Well you know, unless you're in a hurry, then it's more like torture.
I went there because I wanted to get some of their kid's dishes, which are awesome. We have some of the bowls and flatware, and I wanted to get some of the plates. I promise this isn't even an advertisement for them. I wish I had discovered these sooner, before I got a bunch of other various cups and plates and spoons and all that. I really love having matching things, that's just a tick of mine, but now I have a hodge podge and maybe that's a good thing too. Help me break out of those excessively ordered tendencies. Cause we all know life is anything but ordered with children around.
