Can I just say that I like Valentine's Day a whole lot more now that I'm married? Marty and I didn't even do anything romantic today (we're doing a stay-in date tomorrow night), but when I was single, even on fun Valentine's Days, it was always a little stinging reminder that I did not have a special someone. And of course now that I DO have a special someone, it's nice to have a little romance-boosting day sprinkled into the year. ;)
Okay, back to babies!
Carolyn is finally crawling with her tummy off the floor. She's been scooting on her tummy for a month or so, and we now have liftoff!
An unfortunate side effect of this development, is that it's taking us into the blurry picture stage. You may have noticed that there are a lot of videos of Peter and a lot of pictures of Carolyn on this blog. That's because one of them was a little wiggle machine and the other is was much more still. Now I just have two wiggle machines.
Not only is she crawling, but she's already trying to go UP. I'm not ready for up! Here is a great example of the blurry picture issue, and a blurry example of her trying to climb up on things:
If I'm going to keep up with this blogging thing, which my reliable source [me] suggests I will, I am thinking of getting a better camera than just my iPhone to get pictures that don't come out blurry. Does anyone know of such a camera? Let me know in the comments. (I would love it to still be pocket-sized so I can have it handy to capture candids like with my phone)
Lastly, I had to get at least one picture of this festive V-Day sweater that Carolyn had on today. She also had a cute bow on at one point but we're in the yank-off-the-bows stage too, so no bow in this picture.
