There are a lot of ways to get a good laugh when a baby is around, but one of my favorite things to do is narrate what they must be thinking. Babies make such great facial expressions that there's no end to the chuckles to be had.
I had my camera out today at lunchtime, to document how funny feeding Carolyn is. Every time we are at the table, she is always so determined to get some of what everyone else is eating, but once you give her some food, she looks at you as if she's thinking "what is this GARBAGE you are eating?!".
Here is a series of her faces while eating just one bite of yogurt... and then promptly grabbing for more.
| "Okay this is new... " |
| "Wait a minute! What did you feed me??" |
| "Ahh! Blech! Where can I spit this out??" |
| "How could you do this to me?! HELP!" |
| "I cannot BELIEVE you eat this. I'm going to be sick." |
"Phew. I did it. I'm still alive."
"Alright... hit me with some more of that."
"Yo Peter, you got any more of that yogurt?"
And then you've got Peter sitting over there thinking:
| How'd she like that "yogurt"? |
